El Departamento de Protección y Asuntos Legales tiene como objetivo proteger los intereses, derechos y dignidad de los mexicanos que se encuentren dentro de la circunscripción del Consulado General, así como orientarlos y asesorarlos en asuntos de orden civil, laboral, penal, administrativo, migratorio y judicial.

Los servicios de protección que presta el Consulado General de México en San Antonio son gratuitos. Si usted o algún familiar se encuentran ante una situación en la cual consideren que sus derechos pueden ser o han sido afectados, no dude en acercarse a nuestro personal, quienes le brindan asesoría y atención los 365 días del año.

The Department of Protection and Legal Affairs aims to protect the interests, rights and dignity of Mexicans within the constituency of the Consulate General, as well as to guide and advise them in matters of civil, labor, criminal, administrative, migratory and judicial.

The protection services provided by the Consulate General of Mexico in San Antonio are free. If you or a family member is facing a situation in which they consider that their rights may be or have been affected, do not hesitate to approach our staff, who provide advice and assistance 365 days a year.

• Visitas a prisiones o centros de detención Federal, Estatal y local.

• Verificación del proceso judicial y estado de salud.

• Asesoría para trámites penales.

• Apoyo a los presos para la obtención de documentos oficiales Mexicanos, en situaciones excepcionales de otorgamiento de artículos de primera necesidad.

• Apoyo para localizar a sus familiares en México o Estados Unidos, así como brindarles la orientación correspondiente.

• Visits to prisons or Federal, State and local detention centers.

• Verification of the judicial process and state of health.

• Counseling for criminal procedures.

• Support to the prisoners for the obtaining of official Mexican documents, in exceptional situations of granting articles of first necessity.

• Support to locate relatives in Mexico or the United States, as well as provide them with the corresponding guidance.
